THEY HAD A LOVELY TIME THE DAY THEY WENT TO BANGOR

It was a close competition at the North Wales Regional Final of F1 in Schools 2012 held yesterday at Bangor University. 24 teams were competing for three places in the UK National Finals and it was local team, Team Fast Lane from Ysgol Friars in Bangor who took the F1 class honours and claimed the fastest car award with a time of 1.327 seconds. Llanelwy School team Speedy Sixes from Ysgol Glan Clwyd took the Bloodhound Class win and had the Fastest Bloodhound car with a time of 0.823 seconds. They will be joined at the National Finals by the Best Rookie Team of the North Wales region, Team Buzz, from Rhyl High School
