TWO TEAMS FROM DEVONPORT HIGH SCHOOL THROUGH TO NATIONAL FINALS

Devonport High School for Boys celebrated winning five awards in the South West England Regional Finals taking the South West titles in both the Formula 1 and the Bloodhound classes. Vitesse, the Formula 1 category team from the school, claimed the Fastest F1 Class award with their race car speeding down the track in 1.257 seconds. The sister team, Team Oblivion, recorded the fastest time in the Bloodhound category to take the Fastest Bloodhound Class award with a time of 0.844 seconds.
These two teams, along with the Best Rookie team, Mercury, from The Gregg School, Southampton, have won places at the UK National Finals.
